So you go strengthened by the Wiesn time

Soon it's "O'zapft is!" again and the Munich Oktoberfest is considered open. Then, from September 16 to October 3, 2023, people from all over the world will once again gather at the Theresienwiese in Munich to celebrate with us what is probably the world's best-known and largest folk festival.

A whole lot of huge festival tents offer opportunities to eat, drink and celebrate with the best Munich Oktoberfest beer and sweet as well as hearty Bavarian specialties and delicacies. For the perfect Wiesngaudi there are also numerous rides, chain carousels and shooting galleries. There it often goes under and over: Be it long lines in front of the beer tents and the fight for a seat in the tent, the beer flowing in streams, the meandering through the crowds or wild roller coaster rides - soon it will be Wiesn time again!

How we strengthen you for the Oktoberfest

Such a turbulent day at the Wiesn can be stressful and exhausting. Some people may have drunk too much and have to recover from a hangover the day after. After a visit to the Oktoberfest in cooler temperatures, we may also be struggling with a flu-like infection or a cold. As if that weren't enough, we may even have contracted the common infectious disease herpes - if we have approached a stranger in the festival tent or sat close to others and shared a beer mug with them. Of course, Zimply Natural can help you out during this special Wiesn time!

1. how can you strengthen your immune system?

The Immunesystem is the biological defense system that prevents tissue damage caused by pathogens. The immune defense system is essential for our health - because without it, humans would have no protection against harmful influences. Part of the immune system are whole organs and blood vessels such as the lymphatic system as well as individual cells and proteins. The immune-defending organs are the blood, skin, mucous membranes and lymphatic organs.

The immune system is a complex biological defense system that...

  • renders pathogens and foreign bodies harmless through certain defense cells
  • invaded microorganisms and foreign substances removed from the body
  • body's own microorganisms, such as the intestine, controlled
  • combats pathological cell changes by recognizing "broken" or "defective" endogenous cells and removing them
  • Detects and neutralizes pollutants from the environment
  • helps with wound healing

As soon as the Immunesystem is weakened, it can no longer properly fend off pathogens and pollutants. Causes for this can be either inherited or acquired.

Initially, the specific immune system needs some time to fight the pathogen. However, it is capable of learning and can therefore act more quickly and effectively against the same pathogen the next time by storing its information on initial contact.

Possible complaints of a weak immune system

When the immune system is weakened, some symptoms may appear:

  • Fatigue and fatigue
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • a higher susceptibility to infections, such as colds, gastrointestinal infections, etc.
  • higher chances of suffering from chronic diseases

7 tips that can strengthen your immune system

  • Support intestinal health
  • Being in the fresh air every day
  • Exercise

2. how can you reduce stress?

As Anti-Stress is the term used to describe a physical and/or psychological reaction to a perceived overwhelming situation. In the biological stress model, stress is a process occurring in the body in which it enters a state of alert and gathers energy for the upcoming situation. A stress response is expressed by the body releasing the two stress hormones adrenaline and cortisol, which are designed to prepare the body for a fight or flight response. Prolonged and chronic stress can promote a number of mental and physical illnesses if the body is in this state of arousal for a long time and has little time to recover. This can lead to exhaustion and other physical ailments, which we naturally want to avoid, especially during Wiesn time!

Just like the causes, the symptoms of Anti-Stress vary from person to person and depending on the stress situation.

It can manifest itself both physically, through, for example, pessimism, lack of concentration, restlessness, irritability and nervousness, and psychologically, through Headache & Migraine, circulatory problems and palpitations. With chronic stress, the symptoms can manifest and develop into serious diseases, such as diabetes, Burnout and depression.

3. what can you do against herpes?

The Herpes simplex virus 1which triggers the well-known cold sore, is carried by the affected person for the rest of his or her life after initial infection. As soon as the disease breaks out, it often makes itself felt through painful, red blisters on the lip that are filled with fluid. Before that, the first signs, such as tingling, itching, burning or an unpleasant feeling of tightness, may already appear in the affected area - something we want to avoid as much as possible during the Wiesn season!

After a few days, the blisters burst open and, over time, form a crust and a flat ulcer that recedes on its own within two to three weeks. In a severe course, herpes can also be accompanied by fever, Headache & Migraine, malaise and swelling of the lymph nodes may be accompanied. After the first appearance of the herpes, it can erupt both frequently and rarely again.

Another type of infection is genital herpes, which is often caused by herpes simplex virus 2.

Possible causes of herpes

  • Stressed immune system due to intensive sun exposure, insufficient sleep, other infectious diseases or stress
  • Hormonal fluctuations due to menstruation or pregnancy

The transmissibility through direct contact with herpes or through the mucous membranes - especially through the fluid of the herpes blisters via smear and droplet infection - is very high. It can also occur through sneezing and coughing. Once all symptoms have subsided, the risk of infection through touch is no longer possible.
